I've never been here before but just outside Thornbury is the fantastic house known as Old Down Manor

The Manor has lovely grounds to wander around

 Great Food for those who fancy a bite

And even a pool or those staying who fancy a dip !

Hi Everyone,

If you follow my Facebook Page you may have already seen that last Saturday I whipped across to Bristol Zoo.

Pretty Amazing it was too !

If you like a nice stroll you can enjoy an amazing world of animals, all within the award-winning 12 acre gardens.
I couldn't believe there are over 400 species in nine different animal houses under cover, it's one of the best days out in Bristol whatever the weather.

So what you could do is visit www.bristolzoo.org.uk and get all the details.

The Clifton Suspension Bridge

As you can see I stopped off to visit the landmark that I think is probably Bristol's most famous.

Of course I could be wrong, but regardless of that, I'd be surprised if most people wouldn't be impressed.

My excuse for not going over it today, is my elected driver of the day looked a little nervous. Not at the height - just the thought of spending money on the toll.

Ah well great excuse to come back - real soon. Off somewhere else today so keep an eye out !

The Pink Car Rally....

As a Pink Car myself I was so excited to hear of the Pink Car Rally.

Surely there isn't a Rally for cars like me, I thought?

But guess what ? There is !!!!

Not only is there a Rally helps raise awareness of, and funds for, the Little Princess Trust.

So by taking part I get to meet and travel with loads of other 'Pinkies' and I can even do some good for children aswell as have fun...!!!



How Do I Get Involved?

Obviously this was my next question, so I looked it up on Google and ''Hey Presto !''

There it was  www.pink-car-rally.com with all the information I needed see below:

A pink procession, that purrs along its route, raising awareness of (and funds for) a fledgling children’s charity, called the Little Princess Trust, which provides ‘real hair’ wigs for children who lose their hair, primarily through cancer treatments.

 

We all LOVE our pink cars!! Therefore, the route is strictly ‘on-road’ and we drive in convoy, to the speed limits, as much as possible.

 

I can do speed limits and now I can do the rallies too !
